We would like to bring to your attention the ongoing 2022 and 2023 membership renewals exercise by KAO. This is also in tandem with the notice (see attached) from the Kenya Health Professional Oversight Authority (KHPOA) dated 16th September 2022 where all unregulated health professionals which includes optometrists and optometric technologies are to submit their personal, training and professional details through their respective professional/societies to the authority by mid-November, 2022. All members who will not have been entered into respective health professional registers and be holders of a valid practice license by 31st January, 2023 will not be eligible to practice in Kenya.
