Over one thousand Public Service Vehicle drivers from Nairobi have undergone screening for different eye issues in a campaign dubbed “Dereva Hodari” that aims to create awareness around eye health and road safety. The exercise organized by the Kenya association of optometrists in collaboration with other stakeholders in commemoration of world sight day saw the drivers undergo free screening and receive treatment for various conditions.
